Advancing Inclusive Strategies for Economic Growth: A Civic Issues Forum

Friday, April 26, 2024
9:00 AM – 10:00 AM Registration & Networking
10:00 AM – 11:00 AM Program

3675 Market St
Suite 400

Philadelphia, PA 19104
The Greater Philadelphia region stands at a crucial juncture, poised to embrace growth and inclusivity in its business, economic, and workforce development strategies.

Join the Chamber for an interactive discussion with a panel of civic, local, and state leaders who will discuss how the regional business community can champion inclusive and economic growth initiatives across our area. Learn what steps we can collectively take to: create a cleaner and greener city that attracts business, advocate for a more competitive tax structure, expand opportunities for minority-owned businesses, and invest in job and workforce development for local talent.

Drawing from points of intersection across Mayor Cherelle Parker's visionary 100-day action plan and Governor Josh Shapiro's economic development strategy, this Civic Issues Forum will explore the collaborative actions and thoughtful leadership that can foster a thriving economic environment and support enhanced quality of life across the region.

This will be the second in the series of Civic Issues Forums the Chamber presents. In these forums, civic, local, and state leaders will speak on topics that directly impact business at the community, local, and/or state level with an eye toward equity and inclusivity.
