Join the Chilean and American Chamber of Commerce of Greater Philadelphia for its 9th Annual “Experience the Taste of Chile,” an evening of unique authentic Chilean foods, delicious wine, great conversation and the celebration of the fruitful commercial and trade partnerships between the Greater Philadelphia region and the Republic of Chile.
This year, we will discover and taste a wonderful selection of wines from Chile's Central Valley. Fertile soil and long summers make the Central Valley a paradise for wine. Vineyards cover the countryside. During their slow ripening, the grapes accumulate the sweetness, aroma, and color which give the wine a distinctive taste unique to the Central Valley and Chile.
In addition to the wine making industry many people in Chile's fertile Central Valley, farm the land growing fruit and vegetables. Also, the Pacific Ocean bordering to the West, provides a vast and abundant variety of seafood opportunities. Central Valley fishermen leave at dawn in their wooden boats to bring ocean delicacies to Chilean and international tables.
