Natural gas has the potential to re-energize the region’s manufacturing sector, generate economic development opportunities and, ultimately, to create more jobs. This transformation can only occur with the further development the region's physical connection to these resources.

At this event, Members of the Greater Philadelphia Energy Action Team (GPEAT) will launch A Pipeline for Growth: Fueling Economic Revitalization with Marcellus and Utica Shale Gas. This report will outline:

• Strategies and recommendations to further develop pipeline capacity
• Economic benefits of bringing natural gas directly to our region
• Environmental best practices and risk mitigation
• Stakeholder involvement and connections needed to make this plan a reality

In addition to receiving a copy of the report, attendees will hear Phil Rinaldi, President & CEO of Philadelphia Energy Solutions & Chair of GPEAT, and regional stakeholders shed light on why and how we should take advantage of this opportunity now.
