Participate as a reader in the 12th Annual Read to Me Early Literacy Storyteller Event, where you will spend the morning reading to a classroom of Philadelphia school children following a networking breakfast with other business and community leaders.

Each storyteller is asked to make a $500 tax-deductible contribution, which will help to fund the year-long Read to Me Early Literacy Program’s classroom book collections and caregiver and teacher workshops. If you are unable to participate as a Storyteller but would like to support the program, you may still make a tax-deductible donation. We welcome donations of any amount to support this program.

In 2004 the GPCC Regional Foundation became involved in the Read to Me Early Literacy Program, and its creator Lynn Rosenthal, by working with only 8 participating schools. The Read to Me Early Literacy Program is a year-long initiative that aligns with the literacy initiatives of the School District of Philadelphia, the City of Philadelphia, READ! By 4th, and other foundations, programs and organizations, that advocate for every Philadelphia child to have access to quality books and education beginning in Pre-K.

Registration/Cancellation Policy:
Pre-registration is necessary, availability is not guaranteed for walk-ins. Payment is required upon registration/entrance. No refunds will be given one week prior to program/event. Substitutions may be made. Tickets will be held at the door. Reserved seating for tables of 10 only. Please advise your guests that tickets will be held at the door under your company name.

Attendee Policy:
Chamber programs are privately sponsored events with a structured format. No demonstrations or other disruptions will be tolerated. Violation of this policy may result in the attendee's removal from the premises without refund, in addition to possible legal remedies.
