What does your data say about your social impact?
How can you use data to support existing or new goals at your organization around programs, funding and more?
Are you ready to make a shift in the way your organization uses technology to drive change?

The region’s top creative nonprofits are working to answer these questions right now and make it easier to raise new funds, demonstrate metrics for success, and drive real community impact. To support these efforts, the Arts + Business Council invites the region’s Creative Economy nonprofits (Arts, Media, Entertainment, Tech and more) to continue your organization’s data journey through a new series called culture:SHIFT. This program brings together applied learning in the areas of data literacy, change management, and social impact. Our unique curriculum, co-designed and co-facilitated with IBM, Comcast, CapTech and Vereti Concepts, will explore strategies for advancing data and tech in the nonprofit space, evaluate your organization’s capabilities, and give you the tools to transform the way you use data. Attendees will also engage in peer-to-peer conversations with top professionals around data best practices and culture.

Is my organization eligible? Organizations with a budget over $250,000 and at least three (3) full time employees are eligible to participate in this series, and are encouraged to send either the Executive Director or a senior staff member and at least one board member, who manage data and technology (or their delegates). Additional senior staff and board members are invited to join the conversation as well. If your organization falls outside of this budget size, but you are still interested in participating, please send us an email to discuss eligibility at akushner@artsbusinessPHL.org.

Will this program make an immediate impact on my organization? Yes. Every participating organization will receive a personalized report on your data capabilities, and actionable next steps for growing them.

What is the long-term impact of culture:SHIFT? Organizations that participate in the June program will be invited to apply for pro bono services from regional technology firms to support the way your organization approaches data to increase impact. Projects will be selected by demonstrating how the use of data and technology is consistent with an organization’s current strategic planning efforts. Consulting engagements will last approximately 3-6 months.

When does the culture:SHIFT journey begin? Join us June 27th at the University City Science Center’s Quorum space, 1-5pm to learn how leading with data can position your organization for more impact.
