Countless studies have proven that diversity and inclusion (D&I) are good for business — a sound practice can encourage innovation, attract and retain talent, and promote workplace wellbeing. Yet businesses still struggle to adopt policies and procedures within their organizations that advance inclusion.

As the country continues to evolve into a majority-minority population, employers have the opportunity to lead the nation by example and make the case for why inclusion of all races, ethnicities, sexual identities, and abilities is good for business.

At this program, we will present highlights of our survey findings from our 11-county membership on challenges and opportunities within their own D&I practices. Keynote speaker Khalil Smith (Head of Diversity and Inclusion Practice, NeuroLeadership Institute) will break down how group dynamics will be impacted by increased diversity through the lens of social science. Join the conversation as Smith and a panel of experts discuss how to ensure equitable inclusion across the workforce, workplace, and marketplace.
