Just 43% of women are willing to take big risks to advance their career, according to the 2019 KPMG Women’s Leadership Study. And while the share of women sitting on the boards of Fortune 500 companies has more than doubled since 1995 at 22.25% (Pew Research Center), there's still a lot of work to be done. Now more than ever,w omen should embrace risk-taking to advance not only their career, but to increase female representation in the C-Suite.

Join one of Fortune’s Most Powerful Women, Alexa von Tobel, CFP, for an intimate discussion on risk-taking and financial health to learn how to manage and invest your money. Von Tobel is the founder and managing partner of Inspired Capital and the New York Times-Bestselling Author of Financially Fearless and her newest book Financially Forward.

Von Tobel is a seasoned expert on risk-taking, having dropped out of Harvard Business School in the heart of the Great Recession to launch LearnVest in 2008 with the goal of helping people capitalize their assets. After raising nearly $75 million in venture capital, LearnVest was acquired by Northwestern Mutual in May 2015 in one of the biggest fintech acquisitions of the decade. Following the acquisition, von Tobel assumed leadership duties at Northwestern Mutual as the Chief Innovation Officer where she integrated the planning platform, digital tools and personnel of LearnVest to accelerate the digital transformation of Northwestern Mutual.
