The first in a series of virtual gatherings, hear directly from Philadelphia International Airport’s CEO, Chellie Cameron on the impact of COVID-19 on the airline industry and how the airport is working to accommodate travelers in the coming months. U.S. Congressman Brian Fitzpatrick (PA-1st District), who sits on the House Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure, will provide insight into potential legislation that could provide relief to the industry and thoughts on how it would be implemented.

Home to the nation’s 3rd busiest Amtrak station, an international airport which exceeded 32 million passengers last year, and roadways and bridges that typically see more than 37.4 million vehicles a year, the once bustling sectors of the transportation industry have come to a halt due to the stay-at-home orders. As
the economy begins to reopen under strict guidelines, the transportation industry must adapt to ensure the safe passage of travelers.
