[Virtual] Innovation Talks: Recharging Global Cities

Thursday, May 28, 2020
9:00 AM – 10:00 AM Program

VIRTUAL EVENT
Online Only
Philadelphia, PA 19102

As we begin to emerge from the global lockdown, cities that were once positioned as centers of global innovation are showing their holes; with gaps in the startup, academic, and research and development networks that are critical to moving innovation ecosystems forward in a post-COVID world. For Philadelphia, our growing cell and gene therapy and connected health sector, deep focus on inclusive growth, and consistently excellent talent pool, remain strengths as our economy begins to recharge and move into recovery.

This year, Innovation Talks will feature a keynote from Ben Breslau, Chief Research Officer, Americas, JLL to provide an overview of how global cities are changing in response to COVID-19 and why JLL named Philadelphia a leading New World City in the area of innovation prior to the pandemic. The keynote will be followed by a series of flash talks from regional experts who will expand on how Philadelphia is digging in to the growth attributes outlined above to support the region’s path forward.

This event is exclusive to Chamber members. Once your registration has been received, we will share a calendar invitation with Zoom information 24 hours before the meeting. For any questions, contact Brynn Primavera at bprimavera@chamberphl.com.
