The successful candidate will support our mission by providing loss prevention.\n\nResponsibilities:\n• Negotiating and placing of property and liability insurance.\n• Understands and operationalizes programs, policies and procedures for reporting, investigation, and analysis, resolution/outcome management and delivery of claim information.\n• Builds, maintains, manages relationships with brokers, claims adjusters, insurers , tenants and contractors, other claims-related parties.\n• Promotes loss prevention, updating, monitoring compliance with insurance procedures.\n• Safety/risk management.\n• Mitigates exposure to risk by coordinating all claims-related activities.\n• Review all contracts, subcontracts and lease agreements for insurance compliance.\n• Manage Workers’ Compensation claims.\n• Manage insurance data and insurance litigation.\n• Work with tenants and engineering to fulfill compliance of recommendations and risk exposure provided by insurance carriers.\n\nMinimum Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree preferred and five years related insurance/risk management experience\n? Strong knowledge of commercial property, liability, auto and workers’ compensation policies; knowledge of real estate\n? Management of key relationships including brokers, underwriters, adjusters, contractors and tenants\n? Pro-active attitude with team-oriented, collaborative working style and relationship building skills\n? Valid US Driver’s License\n? Ability to obtain a Transportation Workers Identification Credential (TWIC)\nVisit: www.tsa.gov for information and requirements\n\nRequired Skills:\n? Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs\n? Ability to review and respond to insurance and indemnification language/terms in contract agreements and lease agreements\n?
