Johnson has joined the Firm’s Litigation Department where he will practice primarily in the White Collar Defense and Investigations Group. \n\nMr. Johnson represents clients in white collar criminal defense and internal investigation matters. He also has an active civil litigation practice representing clients in complex civil litigation and constitutional matters, including First Amendment Law.\n\n“We’ve enjoyed great results for numerous corporate and individual clients working with Geoff on state and federal investigations and prosecutions since the early 2000s when he was with the Sprague Firm, and we’re looking forward to continuing the momentum,” said William A. DeStefano, Chair of Stevens & Lee’s White Collar Defense and Investigations Group. \n\nMr. Johnson’s son, also Geoffrey R. During his more than 30-year legal career, he has tried dozens of civil and criminal cases in federal and state courts, and has achieved prosecution declinations for many corporate and individual clients following federal and state grand jury investigations. He also has an extensive appellate practice, and has successfully argued several landmark cases in federal and state appellate courts.\n\nMr. Johnson’s son joined him in practice in late 2018 following clerkships to the Honorable Julio M. Fuentes of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit and the Honorable Frederic Block of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York, as well as work as a litigation associate with an international law firm in New York City.
