Annual Meeting

Approximately 1,200 business and community leaders and elected officials attend this annual fall celebration, which features a nationally renowned speaker. The Chamber President and the Chairman of the Board of Directors acknowledge Chamber accomplishments over the past program year and preview agenda items for the coming year.

A Conversation with the Governor

This event features an opportunity for Pennsylvania’s Governor to speak candidly about a host of issues affecting businesses in southeastern Pennsylvania. The informal interview is moderated by a local media personality.

Economic Outlook

This annual program provides insight into the region's economic competitiveness and issues that will impact the business community in the coming year. Approximately 500 executives across a wide variety of business sectors attend to hear the commentary of a guest speaker and a panel of noted industry experts. In addition, the results of a regional business survey are presented to the audience.

Excellence Awards Honoring the Region's Small Businesses

Each Year, these awards acknowledge the accomplishments of small businesses and the contributions they make to our regional economy. Nominated by their peers throughout our 11-county region, the awards are presented in 10 categories.

Inside Pass to the Phillies

Each spring, we welcome the Philadelphia Phillies back from spring training and cheer them on to a winning season; regional business leaders gather at Citizens Bank Park for this festive event. The program includes a question-and-answer session with some of the team's top players, autograph stations, and a complimentary ticket to the evening exhibition game.

Mayoral Luncheon

With more than 1,200 people attending this annual luncheon; it is the largest forum for the Mayor of Philadelphia to address the region’s business community. The Mayor typically uses this occasion to introduce new economic development initiatives and share his vision for the city.

Paradigm Award and Scholarship

The Chamber of Commerce for Greater Philadelphia Paradigm Award is presented annually to a singular woman in business whose outstanding professional and personal achievements serve as a model for success.

Additionally, the Paradigm Scholarship is presented to enhance and benefit the career aspirations of working women in the Greater Philadelphia area, this merit scholarship is awarded annually to women who wish to complete their undergraduate degrees while working full-time for Chamber member companies.

Read to Me Early Literacy Program

The Read to Me Program is an annual, year-long program that helps support early childhood literacy by providing quality classroom book collections to thousands of Philadelphia students and inspires them to read with their parents, caregivers, or teachers throughout the school year.

Regional executives and business leaders go into Philadelphia classrooms to read to students and demonstrate their personal and financial commitment to education in the city.

William Penn Award Gala

The William Penn Award is the highest honor bestowed upon a business person in the Greater Philadelphia business community. Each spring, recipients are chosen for their outstanding contributions toward the betterment of the region, their professional accomplishments, and their commitment to charity as well as to the community. This formal dinner-dance and networking reception welcomes regional business leaders as they pay tribute to the recipient.
