Being bossy is not the same thing as being a good supervisor. Becoming a supervisor is frequently the first step on the management track—so learning how to be a successful supervisor can provide a solid foundation for managerial growth. But most supervisors are promoted from within, meaning they have product skills, but not necessarily people skills. “Management Fundamentals” can help.

This Level I, one day course assists new supervisors as they transition from their role as a worker, supervising former peers. Participants will learn the techniques for successful delegation and discuss the roles and responsibilities of supervisors.
