In Preparation for the Visit
The Chamber will work with the School District of Philadelphia to develop curriculum to incorporate into lesson plans starting in the spring 2018. Students will receive instruction about how to dress and behave in a business environment, as well as hear brief presentations about typical business unit functions.
A networking breakfast will be held in May beginning at 9:00 a.m. This will act as an orientation/introductory session for the host companies. Attendees for this breakfast will include executives/participants from each of the host companies, the principal of each participating school, and other high-ranking representatives from the School District.
In addition to an invitation to this exclusive breakfast, Host Companies will receive:
- Host company's name will appear on signage at the networking breakfast.
- Host company will receive recognition via the Chamber’s social media channels.
- Host company's name will appear in an ad in the Daily News & philly.com if secured.
- Host company will receive recognition in an article to create awareness of the program in an issue of the Chamber's News.
- Host company’s name will appear on the newly created Future Ready page on the Chamber's website, ChamberPHL.com. The link to this page will have presence on the Chamber’s homepage, which receives 83,000 hits per month.
